We did it! Alexander’s is dedicated to making small steps that will make a big impact and, in recognition of our efforts, we were one of the first group of Atlas agents to earn the van lines’ Sustainable Agent Certification.

To achieve certification and recognition, Alexander’s completed a baseline of tasks and documented green efforts throughout the year in five areas, including materials management, transportation, business administration, facilities and community. Such efforts include recycling programs in each office, automatic lighting systems, double-sided printing, and encouraging the use of reusable crates on commercial relocation projects.

Atlas Van Lines developed the Sustainable Agent Certification program in cooperation with Sustainable America, a non-profit organization that consults in the areas of fuel and food conservation.
